The Problem
Social Lens was doing meaningful, complex work. But their website made it harder to understand than it should have been. The structure lacked clarity. The design didn’t reflect credibility. And most importantly, the messaging felt dense.
For their audience, NGOs, corporates, and government bodies, clarity is critical. If someone can’t quickly understand what you do, they move on.
The challenge was to simplify without oversimplifying. To make complex data and processes feel easy to grasp, without losing depth.
Key challenges:
Simplify complex services and data-heavy communication
Improve clarity and structure across the website
Build a more professional, credible digital presence
Help users quickly understand the business and its offerings
TLDR:
A complex service offering, but the website made it harder to understand. Needed clarity, structure, and stronger positioning.

The Process
We kept the process focused and iterative.
Created 2 visual directions through moodboards
Designed the homepage first and refined it through 8+ iterations
Simplified complex information using clear diagrams
Kept the design minimal, structured, and easy to navigate
Extended the system across all pages and developed in Framer
Everything was built around one goal: make the business easy to understand without losing its depth.
TLDR:
Explored direction, iterated deeply on the homepage, then built a minimal, structured website using diagrams to simplify complex information.

The Impact
The shift was noticeable in how people interacted with the website.
What changed:
Users understood the business faster
Complex services felt clearer and more approachable
Blogs saw higher engagement
Resources were consumed and downloaded more
The website now does what it’s supposed to do.
Communicate clearly, build trust, and guide the user without confusion.
TLDR:
Improved clarity led to better engagement, stronger understanding, and a more credible digital presence.
